How to Wear A Tunic

Dressing with Cass

These tunics show how culturally significant textiles from different parts of the world can be brought together and made into beautiful garments.

Both pieces are one-of-a-kind custom tunics by Dancing Ladies.

The first is a hand-dyed indigo Mossi bogolanfini African tunic with hand-drawn batik side panels from a Hmong skirt. This piece can be worn year round and is very soft on the skin.

The second is hand-spun, handwoven cotton from southwest China. Its pattern is a wax resist batik with indigo dye.

Tunics can be worn with everyday clothing such as jeans, leggings, camisoles, t-shirts or turtlenecks. Dancing Ladies boutique unique clothing cannot be found anywhere else. They are one of a kind, wearable art.
